About us

We support and invent ways to learn about nonviolent principles and tools as individuals, in our interactions with others, and in the groups and structures of which we’re a part and with whom we work, inspiring other people to look at NVC and other tools to enrich their lives.

Why do we do it?

We know that there is different way of communicating, working and studying, enjoying life and using power. We want to see a world where nobody dies from starvation, that rather than wars, conflict is resolved through dialogue. We believe Nonviolent Communication is a tool which contributes to the systemic changes to make dreams come true because it’s our experience at home, at work, and in the world. We would like people to be able to access this tool and become more active in social change to create more peace in the world.

The platform allows everyone anywhere in the world the opportunity to learn from the comfort and safety of their own home. We hope this platform will become a global website where courses are held by different teams, different trainers and different languages.

Meet the team

I was born in India, and I'm living in a city called Pune.
As a behaviour skills facilitator, I design and deliver skill-building workshops for organisations. I enjoy volunteering with projects that are centred around community building and empathy. I came across NVC in 2017 and got smitten by the beauty of four steps. I am volunteering with Peace Factory to help curate this platform using my intuitive skills of 'connecting the dots'.
In my free time, I love motorcycling, walking through forests, hiking in mountains or wading through streams.

I'm passionate about community and compassion.
I have soooooo enjoyed working in this team - a heady mixture of love and compassion in action.
That's enough about me here because you can also read more about me on the trainer page!

Hi, I am Madhu, I was born in India and now I am living in The Netherlands. I love people and travelling. My background is mostly in IT and I am helping develop the Virtual Exchange Platform at PeaceFactory. As a fun adventure, I biked from Clermont-Ferrand to Montolieu with a friend just to be part of the community and meet the people :) I am interested in Political Sociology, Policy research, Global Justice and Ethical Tech. I believe we need radical socio-political change in order to prevent social collapse and mass extinction, so I volunteer at Extinction Rebellion raising awareness about climate crisis, ecological breakdown and oppression.

I was born in Russia, and I'm living in India at the moment. I worked 9 years in an IT company in various HR roles. Learning NVC early in 2018, I was an active part of Moscow NVC Practice Group and attended several NVC events in India, including an IIT in January 2020.
With the beginning of lockdown, I realised that the human connection has a deeper value for me, so I left the corporate career to concentrate on NVC and empathetic connections.
I am a CNVC Certification Candidate. Working on the Peace Factory team brings me joy of co-creating, connecting with people in an incredible team, curiosity to see how the event works out and a sense of purpose.
In the team I am responsible for gathering resources for the Library, updating the content of the platform and supporting live sessions with trainers on Zoom technical support.

Hello, I am a Russian living in France at the moment. NVC is completely changing my life and I have chosen to spend all my spare time on this project, communicating with those amazing empathic people from my team. In this team everybody is listened to, respected and people do only what and when they choose to and receive as much support and empathy as needed. I am able to experience “connection before action” every week. For the project I mostly concentrate on marketing. Hope this course gets you what you are looking for and you appreciate all love and care we are putting into it!

I tripped upon NVC in 2017 and simply fell in love with this process. I haven't stopped attending courses since then and it changed my life and still is. I chose to experience using my skills, time, and energy to be of service for something as meaningful to me as NVC. Living NVC within a project team, motivated me to volunteer for this project: live the adventure of NVC for real and with for a meaningful purpose.
With this motivation, I've been working mainly on the project on coordination, first level technical "stuff" and all kinds of support during the live event.

I love being myself and today that's my full-time job. One day I realised I had spent so much energy to turn myself into someone else that I decided to find out how to live effortlessly That was my first NVC module. I love slowness, singing, taking time for relationships, carving wood, impulsing vision & organising resources in a project, listening to what is alive in myself and others. I have been contributing to the VIC project as "metronome", coordinator and general support. I have the overview, I dispach information, I take time to connect and listen to everyone, I have faith in each person in the team. I'm full of gratitude to work with this particular team in the VIC project. I'm here with all my humanity to participate to the creation of more and more spaces to become ourselves and NVC is a tool that changes my life! why not yours?!
